Applications are open from 31 October 2017 to 15 January 2018. To process your application, you must complete the online form in the application page, following the guidelines provided.
Applicants can be young scientists beginning their careers in the field of astrocytes or senior scientists wishing to refresh their glial background.
Registration is limited to 35 participants. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their scientific background and relevance of the course in their current research.

In addition, the Organisers will provide bus services on the arrival and departure days, between Forlì train station (and/or Bologna airport) and the School venue, trying to cover as many students as possible. This is a courtesy service and individual transportation cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on final sponsorship levels and budget constraints, the Organisers will provide travel awards. Accepted students who wish to be considered for this support should contact the Organisers; priority will be given to students originating from geographically distant institutions.
To complement the intensive scientific programme, a half day has been assigned to cultural activities. Participating students will be taken to Ravenna, home to eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where guided tours will be offered. The excursion will be concluded with a dinner party at a local restaurant with regional specialities of Ravenna and Emilia-Romagna, before returning to Bertinoro.
